Here at Citation ISO, we offer 3 different types of audit, remote, on Teams, or on Site.
Please see below for a brief overview of what to expect at your audit
Teams
Most of our audits are done via Microsoft Teams, this format allows more flexibility for you to invite as many people as you require present for the audit, at a time and day that suits you best.
The Microsoft teams audit involves evidence being shared between the client and consultant using either screen sharing, or email. The evidence is then examined by the consultant and in the moment, feedback is provided to the client so that they can use this for continuous improvement.
Once the evidence has been shared, the consultant will compile a report containing any non-conformances which need to be addressed which is then submitted to head office in Norwich where it will be uploaded to the atlas portal for the client to view and make any required changes or improvements.
On site
We can offer on site audits for most of the UK, it will depend on if we have a consultant available in your area.
An on-site audit follows the same process as a teams audit, however during these sessions the consultant will attend your place of business, and documentation can also be reviewed in paper form.
Something to note, is that consultants can only visit commercial premises and not client’s homes, which means these audits may not be appropriate for all clients unless a dedicated meeting space is hired for the session at the clients’ expense.
Remote
You could be eligible for a remote audit, completed using our online submission portal. This cannot be your first annual audit, and we would require that you have passed your last audit with no major nonconformances.
The remote audit works by us selecting any date of your choosing and, on the morning of said date, you will receive an email containing a link to the online submission portal where the required clauses are listed, as well as examples of evidence, space to upload your documents, and to provide context to the auditor. You have 14 days from this initial email to submit the evidence on the portal.
This version of the audit is smaller than the standards Teams or On Site audit, and less evidence is required which can save quite a lot of time and energy.
